I'm sure glad Winky Wright didn't run into those judges because he wouldn't have ever won a fight in his career.

How about letting us vote for the draw?

Kotelnik won this fight he clearly was the stronger guy going rounds 6 and onwards, at least it should of have been a draw. I like Kotelnik he is a good fighter.

I wasn't keeping tabs on the score, but if I was I probably would have had Kotelnik take it by 7 rounds to 5. But I can understand if people had it the other way round, as Alexander's superior work rate may have been enough to scrape him through. But if you're like me and you prefer to see crisp and clean punches being landed, then you have to give that to Kotelnik.

    Alexander 115-114 Kotelnik.

I'll have to rewatch it when I'm sober. Alexander was given too much credit for his workrate...he looked amateurish at points when he was just trying to connect on Kotelnik. Workrate can win bouts, example Clottey v Pacquiao...but when the opponent (Kotelnik) is landing regularly...and the majority of your shots are hitting gloves and arms, the bout should not just be scored on workrate like Lederman did.

Pacquiao outlanded Clottey more than 2 to 1.

Alexander, 116-112. He outworked him in the vast majority of rounds.

I think I had it 7-5 for Kotelnik, but a draw or 7-5 Alexander actually is ok with me. I'm more pissed with Lederman's card than anything else. Plus, I'm really not a fan of one fighter "outworking" the other if the other fighter. I prefer to judge it on the number of shots landed and the quality of shots landed. "Outworking" sounds like an excuse to justify personal bias.

This could be a bigger robbery than the Casamayor/Santa Cruz fight which was one of the bigger ones in recent memory. Even though Khan is incredibly chinny and comes off as a complete wanker, you can't fault the man's boxing skills for virtually shutting out Kotelnik who himself is a pretty good fighter.

The court of public opinion is what matters in the end so it's a hollow victory and even Devon and his corner realize this. Any of the top guys at 140 like Khan, Bradley, Maidana perhaps even Ortiz would have absolutely destroyed Alexander tonight.

:lol: don't you have to out land someone to outwork them, or is just throwing and missing enough?

7-4-1, Alexander. Alexander, was more busier and won the power punch stat and landed more than one punch at a time, more so than Kotelnik.Alexander is just 22, and will get better, the 9-1 odds and all the hype made it easier for the haters to hate in a close fight.

I would lean towards the guy with a higher workrate. I just hope that the guys that are defending Alexander also defended DLH against Money and Calzaghe against Hopkins.

    Or I'm smelling some bias.
