116-112 was definitely very generous. It's was more like 118-110 or 117-111 if you didn't give Devon every close round. Even Kellerman seemed embarrassed at Lederman's scorecard but didn't have enough balls to straighten him out like Merchant would have.

Personaly, I had predicted an Alexander win via TKO around the 8th round. But after watching the fight I though Kotelnik was going to take it by SD. His timing was on! He was landing the cleaner more effective shots, which always gets my favor in a round. Devon was throwing alot but, there were alot of misses and the shots that were landing weren't flush. The fight turned out to be a win via home advantage, much like Kessler-Froch.

Don't know if Alexander just had a bad night or what, but he looked vulnerable in there that night. And what was up with the Ledderman card? That was a disgusting display of judging. That was the worst score card ever put up by Harold.

I do hope Devon and his team learn from this tough fight and works on a couple of adjustments in the gym, otherwise he won't be getting passed Bradley, khan, or Maidana.

The guys that gave it to Alexander seem to be giving it to him for punching air and gloves.

As others have said already work rate don't mean ****.

Example: A fighter who throws 100 punches but misses them all against a guy who throws 3 punches but lands them all, I give it to the guy who threw and landed 3.

I found it hard to give Alexander hardly any rounds because he missed so many god damn shots and when Kotelnik threw landed the majority of his.

It's not hard to see King, HBO and media having an agenda in this fight.

I SAW IT 114-114, so I can't vote on the poll.

80 % of the posters on ESB cannot score a fight. Of course half of the tools that voted are taking Kotelnik's word that he won because they have not seen the fight.

I watched the fight and I'm not a perticular fan of either man and I picked Devon to win but clearly believe Kotelnik won that one.

rewatching the fight right now on mute, I have Alexander up 2-1 after 3. In the first two, Kotelnik may have had a higher accuracy but he was hitting Alexander with weak jabs. Alexander may be throwing in bunches and missing most of them but he's getting in about as many punches as Kotelnik and they're more effective. round 3 was pretty much the same as the 2 previous rounds but I think Kotelnik did enough to squeak by with a couple nice hard shots and a good combo at the end of the round.

when I watched it on saturday night, I had Alexander winning 8-4, I'ma see if anything changes in my 2nd viewing...

round 4 alexander continued the higher work rate but when kotelnik swung, he was missing just as much, didn't hit alexander with anything very effective. just based on the punches landed alone i'd say it was pretty even but i don't score even rounds, gotta tip it to alexander.

round 5 definitely goes to kotelnik. he outlanded alexander, had a good combo, some nice hooks and jabs. alexander didn't hit him with anything too effective.

another round for kotelnik in round 6. outlanding alexander again, much more and crisper shots than the previous round. most definitely a kotelnik round.

3-3 after 6... last time i had alexander up 4-2, i gave alexander the 5th round last time around, all the other rounds i've scored the same so far.

round 7 kotelnik, outjabbed Alexander, other than that not too many effective punches from either guy, except for that one where Kotelnik stepped on Alexander's foot so I wouldn't put much weight on that punch. but either way, Kotelnik had the better round.

round 8 another kotelnik round, had kotelnik barely winning most of the round but separated himself at the end with good clean shots.

round 9 another kotelnik round, i originally had round 9 for kotelnik in my first viewing. kotelnik clearly dominated this round.

damn! lol... 6-3 kotelnik after 9... crazy how the crowd sometimes has an effect on the feel for a fight, but muted and unbiased it's a different story

round 10 kotelnik lands more meaningful jabs the round ends in a flurry but both fighters miss most punches, i think kotelnik tagged him 2 more times but they mostly hit each other's arms and shoulders.

round 11 goes about the same as most other rounds so far. kotelnik landing clear shots, alexander landing few and far between.

round 12 definitely a kotelnik round. kotelnik was hitting alexander at will at the end and alexander was wobbling not sure if from exhaustion or if kotelnik hurt him... maybe both

so damn! haha! my final scorecard is 9-3 kotelnik

i admit i guess i was fooled the first time around. part of it was that kotelnik had his gloves to his face and when alexander hit him in the gloves it shook kotelnik's head and gave the impression that alexander connected more than he actually did. couple that with the hometown crowd effect and yeah, i got it wrong.
