I haven’t seen it yet but have read a few comments describing Bivol as having “run” and that you don’t win fights that way.

What, did people really expect Bivol to disadvantage himself by fighting Beterbiev’s fight?

If you’re moving and not getting hit you’re not losing anything.

Ultimately it’s a combination of who landed the most punches with punch quality duly factored in also

I had it 115-113 Beterbiev but the fight could have gone either way. The aggeessor got the nod.

This running **** is nonsense. He was landing almost 4 to 1 on AB and controlled the pace. Being the aggressor is useless when you're not breaking the fighter down.

    Bivol, and he was robbed:

Just for example, Impactful Punches on AI scoring criteria are 16x. more worth than regular ones.
Bivol landed more than double impactful punches, which are clean, effective, hard shots.

Yeah, was listening to Mannix podcast and Sergio Mora was saying much the same, that a fighter who mostly relies on blocking and partying as defence still gets marked up and risks losing rounds simply because it doesn't look as effective defensively as dodging punches.

You know what I love about this fight, it's done something that no other fight has done in recent history, it has actually got people having honest discussions about boxing.

There are no fanboys for either guy, no haters neither, yet it was the biggest fight in boxing, people are actually arguing about what they've seen not what they wanted to see.

Usually huge fights have clear a side fighters and have fans arguing for their boy, this isn't that.

This has been a huge success for actual boxing.

Yes, I'm well aware. Check the RBR for clarification, I don't feel like going through it again.

I had it 115-113 Beterbiev, or 114-114 if a close round seven swinged to Bivol. I also think Bivol had a case for round 5, so 115-113 Bivol is justifiable too.

I'm not mad at the decision but I didn't think he won 8-4.

Bivol 8-4, 7-5 at worst. Wasn't even that close as people trying it to make. Blocked punches are not landing. Beterbiev fans start sounding like Canelo fans on here lol.

Yes Bivol blocked a lot of shots. He also partially blocked a lot too, they did land just not clean.

Beterbiev doesn't load up or throw wide looping punches but you could see the effect he had when he did land. I think that's why people aren't giving his shots the respect they deserve.

    So 114-114 not 115-113.

Completely unbiased towards either guy. I scored it 115-113 to Beterbiev. They both landed roughly the same amount of punches, but Beterbiev was the aggressor, came forward and looked to be the man in charge there. I'm not mad about Bivol winning by the same score, or a draw but to have it any wider either way is way off imo

Bivol didn't run all night and Beterbiev didn't hit gloves all night. Both men fought their fight and I felt Bivol did a good job of landing flurries off the back foot, and Beterbiev did a good job of landing shots that partially hit gloves but also hit the man, and those were troubling Bivol enough to push him back

Let's run it back and see what happens, definitely a disputed undisputed fight!

Bivol just like Usyk clearly won that fight, but was robbed. At least Usyk wasn't, but they tried hard.

Beterbiev fans trying to dismantle the stats tell you the whole story.
Just Fury ignoring the AI stats, and how Usyk destroyed him.
