For me Clottey lost the fight rather than Cotto winning, the fight was there for Clottey to win but he didn't let his hands go enough

I got the impression that clottey won when i did not score the fight.

when I scored it, it seems cotto picked up crucial rounds. Clottey rounds may have been dominant but cotto still won more rounds. I had it 115-112.

Yeah, I would say Clottey's rounds were significantly more dominant. Maybe I've been too hard on him in a way. It's possible the strength of the rounds he won gave him a false impression of comfort in there. It's not easy to concentrate on round to round when you're in a serious fight whether you're winning or losing.

Clottey stupidly gave away the last two rounds, I can't stand when a guy does nothing down the stretch and then cries that boxing has wronged him. There wasn't anything Cotto could have done to him backing up, but he decided to just follow him and eat a few jabs. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Clottey had the fight in the bag - but took his foot off the gas in the late rounds - whereas Cotto stepped it up in the championship rounds. Cotto deserved the close decision victory.
