I hear casamayor fans complain about this decision. I thought that Corrales clearly outboxed him. he kept him on the end of the jab and didn't get dragged into the type of brawl that lead to him getting stoped in the first fight. Casa had the late KD but to me that was not enough to win him the fight or even get him a draw. Who did you have winning.
I thought Corrales out boxed him. I always wonder if Corrales would have got him out in the first fight if the Doc gave one more round. They were rocking eachother before it was stopped.
It's a possibility but it's also possible that Casamayor would have taken him out. he was going to come out desperate and casa is a good counter puncher
it was a while ago, but i remember thinking when casamayor knocked him down late that he was going to edge a close decision then again i also thought casamayor beat freitas
Casa vs Freitas was such a close fight, with the 2 points that he lost (one on the bogus KD and one on the fouls) it's just too hard to give him the fight.
