I had it split 6 rounds each, lots of very close rounds that could've gone either way. Not gonna lie I didn't give Herrera much of a chance in this one and feel a little stupid for doing so.
I had 7-5 Garcia. Most of the rounds were very close, could have easily been a draw or even gone to Herrera.
Was to drunk to tell, have to watch again on tv. But i can tell you the crowd was uneasy with the fight Met paulie, gray and farhood. all very polite
I watched the fight but did not score it, but it seemed to me that Herrera won the fight by at least a couple rounds.
i scored it for garcia by 3 rounds. hererra worked hard but it was mostly jab and grab and butt. garcia's work was of higher quality
Garcia lost. It's very difficult to score it objectively and see it any other way. Even the Showtime commentators couldn't score it for Garcia and Garcia is one of Showtime's larger attractions, so you'd think they would have found a way, but it would have meant losing their credibility. You could see the disappointment in Danny and Angel's faces post-fight. I think the knee the truth of how the fight went.
Well it just proves that Garcia got out boxed in that fight, Danny Garcia just got a gift decision since he is the undefeated champion fighting at home. Garcia looked like a robot in there too stationery..... no wonder why he won't fight a slick & in his prime boxers. :deal
