Who won last night?! Cotto or Mosley

Cotto fought a great fight last night cotto exucuted his fight to profection...it was competitive but cotto got the harder and cleaner shots and the hard straight jab was working to profection over all great win for cotto.....

 

Cotto - close, but clear

 

Cotto he beat Mosley all around ! Outjabbed, outsmarted, straight rights drilling his head back viciously !

Mosley had no answer ! All he did was grab and hold and throw a few hard shots each round ...

then when cotto started to counter and move he still beat shane at shane's own game but the haters are trying to say that shane this that but if you ask me cotto embarrassed shane at his own game the entire fight !

Definitely a very close Cotto win. Great fight.

 

Cotto outboxed and outworked Shane without a doubt. Shane showed aggression but wasn't effective. Cotto landed the harder more effective shots...and showed better ring generalship.

 

I scored it a draw. However, I could see it being scored either way.

Precisely. The subjective aspects of scoring boxing make this fight diffucult to score, and Ive seen it twice.

I basicaly think that most fans here scored the fight for the man they wanted to win.

Im suprised at all of those who say that there is 'no way' Shane won that fight. He had Cotto going backwards the last three rounds (a guy who never goes backwards) and was doing some excellent body work. True, Cotto was countering off the ropes but I think some are over-rating his counterpunching abilities as they are his speed. Just because they thought he couldnt counterpunch and thought he was slow, they are giving him so much credit for it now.

I have no problem with the fight being scored for either fighter, or a draw.

 

Cotto fought beautifully last night. It was a clear win for him.
