Yes this has been done a thousand times. I'm about to watch the fight again, and score it myself. I'm just interested to see who had who winning. :bbb
Leonard, it was a close fight. An argument can be made for Hagler, but to call it a robery is just wrong.
Scored it a draw. Had two even rounds, which I hate giving, but sometimes, such few punches landed, I felt I had to. Same with Hopkins-Calzaghe.
Leonard 7-5 the last time I saw it. I say that as a much, much bigger fan of Hagler's than Leonard's as well. If Hagler and Leonard had fought earlier in the 80s, Leonard loses. I think Leonard felt this way as well. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/6983512/hagler-vs-leonard This is a good piece to read about the events leading up to the fight, and a little about the fight itself and what happened to both guys later.
115-113 Hagler. I'm a WAY bigger Leonard fan than Hagler fan. That is just who I score it for every time I watch it.
SRL he was letting his hands go and doing a good job of 'stealing' rounds that Hagler was edging but he was landing quite a bit with those flurries.
This is the way I saw it. LOL, at people who think a shoeshine at the end the round is enough to win it. I thought it was close but very clear for MMH and I was a HUGE SRL fan (and still am)
Good question, no, i've scored it at various times 116-112 Leonard, 115-113 Leonard and 114-114. My concensus opinion is 115-113 Leonard.
