didn't you see the decision? martinez won. garcia won, stiverne won, quillin won etc etc google is your friend. :rofl
Murray 114-113 Close, but clear. I thought I was generous in giving Sergio all 3 of the rounds that I did after the first 3 (which he clearly won). Murray on the other hand won 6 rounds clearly, scored a KD, and was robbed of another KD.
Martinez for me. Was a very close fight that could have gone either way as the poll indicates. In fights this close, let the judges decide which man deserved the nod.
I score fight on clean effective punching first and foremost. Tell me how Sergio did convincingly better work than Murray when he was knocked down twice, never manage to hurt or stun the Englishman. He was jabbing a lot but most of his jabs got blocked. He did some good bodywork I give him that. Murray was landing nice one two and scored the more telling blows in the second part of the fight. I was rooting for Sexy Sergio as I'm a fan but I don't think that he won that fight.
I had Murray winning by a point but it could of gone either way and I did not expect Murray to win by decision in Argentina .
It was a classic "he needed to KO him to score a draw" situation as evidenced by the slightly too far scores, the blown KD call, and then the blown KD call again despite the WBC use of instant replay.
