Martinez will KTFO by a focused conditioned Chavez Jr, no way Martinez survives 12 rounds against him. A good boxer but overrated, gets hit easily, almost as shaky as Khan whenever a solid punch lands flush on his chin, he's too cocky he believes his reflexes are better than they actually are

Canelo at 154 or even 160 KOs him...that chin forward hands down style is tailor made for Canelo whose hand speed would demolish Martinez

    Had it 114 - 113 Murray.

Very close fight I could legitimately see it for either guy by 2 or 3 points or anything in between. Murray was unlucky with the missed 2nd knockdown.

Murray fought well but Martinez didn't look good at all, age and injury seem to be taking their toll. Murray's not really any better than Barker or Macklin he just fought a significantly worse version of Martinez then they did imo.

We got to give Murray credit here. He covered up knowing Martinez style is to pepper the left and move around. Martinez didn't hurt him, but when Murray landed he landed flush...just think Murrays game plan was spot on, not a good style match up for Martinez

Thought Murray won it 114-113 and should have been 114-112 if the ref hadn't ****ed up the knockdown call. Got to give it to Murray, I never rated him but he's proven himself now as a top middleweight.

I missed the fight and haven't seen it yet, but wow, looks like Martinez struggled with eurolevel Murray. Is it worth a watch?

No Golovkin fight in the near future I guess.

Considerin the amount of British fans here, and the lack of Argentine ones, I have to think theres a little bias in the poll results.

It was an extremely close fight though.

Martinez pulling those last 2 rounds out swung it for me.

Whilst I must agree about the possibility of a little bias, to score this fight by a point to either fighter is about right a two point margin would be the maximum for me . How anyone ( the judges) can score it by three points is a little baffling

Murray in a very close decision which could go either way. However there's no doubt which fighter looked better and got the better work done.

I'm sure you aren't biased against the British fighter though mate. ;)

Two knock downs, took most of Martinez's punches on the gloves, went forward the whole fight. I'd say Murray won OK. No problem though, fighting the national hero in a football stadium, great atmosphere, Murray would never expect a decision. He hopefully got well paid, a moral victory, and he's well and truly put himself on the world scene now. It was a great night really. Martinez gassed last night but next fight he may be different again.

Well, for all Martinez flaws last night, I dont think gassing was one.

Thought he took the last 2 rounds

Martinez, you just can`t afford to basically give away the first part of the fight like Murray did walking on behind the earmuffs... Martinez fought better in spurts, ref missed the `2nd` knockdown. So Martinez takes it and the straight answers given by Murray during the postfight indicates that he knew as much. If your going to go to a champs backyard to take the belt, and beat the champ, you better do it in convincing fashion ... The missed knockdown was huge ! Murray certainly didn`t hurt himself with this showing !
