Even against a 44 year old McCall, boxing rather than brawling is still the best chance to get a win. Hopoate didn't or couldn't box well enough so Ollie picks up another win.

Bruno stunned him a few times. But they were full on picture perfect punches from one of the hardest hitting HW's ever, taken compeltely flush, and they only really backed him up a little!

McCall has himself stated that the only fighter who ever hurt him was JC Gomez. Ironically Gomez isn't considered to be a big puncher, and remember McCall took flush shots from Lewis, Bruno, Tyson (in sparring), etc...

I have watched his two fights with Gomez, and I gotta say that not one single time in these 22rds did Oli seem to be hurt or even slightly buzzed to me, so I don't know...

Hopoate should stick with what he knows best (and what the world knows him best for) - shoving his finger into unsuspecting men's anuses.

Hah really? thats kinda weird, considering the people he's been in there with.

I know it's stating the obvious but it's simply phenomenal the amount of damage he can absorb. Infact its not even damage cause it doesnt do anything to him! plenty of fighters can engage in a war and go down to the wire but McCall just seems indestructable!

He was crying his eyes out while Lewis beat on him.

From a site that gives updated fight news 24/7.

''In his first fight in 19 months, former WBC heavyweight champion Oliver “The Atomic Bull” McCall (52-9, 37 KOs) scored a second round KO over John Hopoate (11-3, 11 KOs) on Friday night at the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The 44-year-old McCall dropped Hopoate twice in round two prompting referee Joe Cortez to wave it off.''

Hapatote needs to retire now, because if he couldn't even beat McCalll at this point, then there's not much noise he can make. Not only that but he was blitzed in the second round.:-(

but the point is is he was standing there begging lewis to knock him out and lewis couldnt even stun him. mccall's chin is beyond granite. he has a good punch and has always kept himself in pretty good shape while being an above average boxer. id like to see mccall valuev id put my money on oliver by late k.o.
