He wasn't running, He had smart tactics, Good counterpunching, But he was outworked at times, Not Close to a robbery, It was a close fight, It could go either way, Bottom line, I had it 115-113 Pac, or 114-114, It could go to JMM, All depends. No use whining, 116-112 Pac was the only bad card I feel. Maybe I am dumb, But then why the hell does Dan Rafael, Steve Kim and many other experts agree with me ( 114-114 and 115-113 JMM ). Give it to who you want, It was close, This isn't no Paul Williams-Lara type of robbery.
Marquez fuked him up..schooled him in the sport of boxing..pac looked pathetic really. Pac lost his #1 spot to floyd too..cant look like that against the #5 in the world marquez when floyd beat the crap out of the #2 in the world marquez.
I had it a draw, or Marquez could have won. Did I expect a decision win for Pac - NO. I expected Pac to KO him. Was I surprised with the result - YOU'LL BE DUMB to think Marquez will get the nod for a close fight. There is just too much at stake for a Pac loss. Boxing is a sport, but it has been more of a business the past three decades. The only way JMM could have won that fight is if he won it very convincingly or by KO. I had it a draw, and he might have won it by a slim margin, but not much. JMM came there to prove a point - that he can counter Manny all night. But he did not do enough to want to win the fight. He fought going backwards all night, yes counter punching. He never really initiated much of the action. I would not really call it tactical, it was more of defensive, too defensive and the lack of offense from Pac. Manny also gave JMM too much credit and respect. He was not there psychologically and the memories of the last two fights were still in his head. He was too cautious. And why the fakk would Nacho tell his boxer he was winning with two rounds still to go. It wasn't as if it was by wide margin. He should have known hat matches with very minimum action usually favor the aggressor.
Marquez did what Nacho told him to do, DO NOT ENGAGE, and that's what Marquez did. Made a boring fight, not really a fight.

To be fair, i suggest that someone should conduct a poll in a week when people's head have cooled off. Because a lot of these votes were made just after the fight in the heat of the moment.
im a big manny fan and i felt a bit pissed off after the fight, JMM won that fight, it was a close fight but he deserved the victory. His game plan was perfect and he landed the cleaner shots. whats a disgrace are the judges!!! I dont think they cheated as such but they knew that a Pacquiao win would be good for boxing and that a Pac loss would damage the sport. yet by being biased judged IMO, they have damaged the credibility of the sport. JMM is the thorn in Manny's side, I think Manny beats everyone else but JMM seems to have his number. Ive also seen a decline in Manny's performances since 2008/2009. he seems to do very little for the 1st 1:30 of every round just standing there bobbing and weaving. He really needs to fight like the old Pacquiao who threw 100+ punches per round cos TBH I thought he was boring and I felt a bit cheated of my PPV money Pac is still the best but he needs to take far more risks than he has been doing lately
