hey don't have a go at Brits, pretty sure most of us think Beltran won too! Also what's going on with the "injury" excuse too, he wasn't injured like he hurt himself before the fight, it was because he was smashed in the face during the fight!
I'll give credit to Burns at least he did not go on like a dick head like Tim Bradley did after he was gifted a decision against Pacquiao but this is just beyond a joke really. This is supposed to be a sporting event and even all the Sky team who were clearly pulling for Burns had to concede he lost.
Yeah I have my doubts as to whether that injury came as early as they claimed but regardless as to if that was a factor or not, Beltran should be taking home the belt he has worked so hard and sacrificed so much to earn. He clearly won and and I really feel if Burns had not been allowed to get away with all of that holding he would have been stopped.
I haven't seen the fight, but I am listening to Barry McGuigan on Talksport and he feels Burns was lucky to get the decision. I can't say I am surprised, though. This has been creeping into the English boxing scene, lately. I hate hometown decisions and this sounds like one to me. I bet Eddie Hearn is laughing his tits off.
dont take a pop at Brits like a complete twat. The Brits are more angry about this than anyone else. Proud country and believe me people here HATE **** like this
Can't see a case for Burns winning, let alone a draw. It was very bad result. Politics as usual though.
Burns, the fans, the Sky analysts, even Michael Buffer knew Beltran won that fight. The judge that had it 115-112 was one of the worst scorecards I've ever seen, and that's saying something considering the bad cards there has been in boxing down the years
i think it was from when the kd happened, wasnt it the round after that that he mentioned it to billy nelson??
