To me it was a clear draw. mayorga controlled the fight in the beginning but as forrest calmed down and the got confident he totally won the 2nd half. Should've been a close victory or a draw. I remember scoring it a draw but if they had given it to forrest by a point I wouldn't have had a problem with that. Mayorga was given a gift.

    I had Mayorga fight.

Forrest didn't even want to fight. He was diving to the canvass, avoiding exchanges.

Mayorga controlled the pace of the fight, and landed the better punches. Forrest ****ed up this fight, it could have been a good one.

Forrest clearly out boxed him... Mayorga was just a little more aggressive. Forrest won a close fight in my eyes. Foremans commentating was ****ING TERRIBLE

7-5 Mayorga...Haven't watched it in a while, but I believe Mayo won the first 5 or 6 rounds and Forrest had dug himself too big a hole to climb out of.

Boxing cracks me up...Mayorga beats Forrest twice, but gets knocked out by De La Hoya, who lost to Mosley, AND gets knocked out by Mosley who...lost to Forrest. Twice.

Indeed. Styles do apparently make fights. I will say I'm not sure how healthy Forrest was, with the shoulder injuries. However I'm not sure it matters much, Mayo was simply more man than him in those fights, that was the difference to me.

I had Ricardo winning this fight...He tore Vernon up in that first fight and in the second fight he did just enough to win though it was close IMO

I think the right man won the fight, close fight though, I don't think it is crazy to have Forrest winning a close decision.

I remember Forrest diving for the canvass and running with his back turned at times. Very similar to the spinks fight, but ot as pathetic.
