What I don't get with fighters today is why don't they keep a tight guard and box behind a jab, especially when the flashy stuff isn't working. Half of these big punches Catterall was landing were because Taylor was coming in with his hands down.

Very slippy fighter with natural reflexes Catterall mind first time I've seen him box didn't realise he was this good, he win this fight tonight.

The knockdown removed all doubt for me. Taylor had to win 7 of 12 rds to overcome that. That just didn’t happen. But no one should be surprised. This isn’t a sport anymore.

Taylor is an absolutely elite 140 pounder. He’s really good. Jack Cat is just better than we all thought.

I thought it was close, close enough not be be a robbery but a win for Catterall nonetheless.

I just watched the fight. I have no bias towards either fighter. It was a close fight. Could be scored for either guy.

The only losers tonight were the ref and those crying robbery.

Catterall won this in my eyes. I thought it was a bad decision.

Absolute shocker. Boxing once again hangs its head in shame. Wasn’t even debatable. We as fans should of witnessed one of boxing’s fairytale stories last night. Catterall must be heartbroken.
