One of the few fights I didn't score, but had I scored, I believe I would've scored for Catterall. Crazy because I was just saying how I didn't believe anyone under 140 could beat Taylor. What's odd is I don't think Catterall beats Prograis or Ramirez though.

And I'm sure caterall would not win a rematch either.

And I dont want to steal this victory from caterall, imho he won fair and square. It's only that I dont think he can repeat it.

This was my point, guy fought basically as well as he could, should be unified champion and if he got a rematch he’d lose it as Taylor would adjust and not be as poor, which is why it’s such a shitty robbery.

Catterall took this easy. The punch stats show that also.
Taylor won 3 rounds tops, he didn't land anything of note and mainly scored off clinches. Not only that but he got dropped AND lost a point..

If there was no knockdown, then i could possibly live with a draw. But with it, Catterall should have won, and probably by at least 2 points. Taylor being given the win is criminal. I'm fine with the one judge's scorecard of 113-112 for Catterall, but the other two scorecards were loony.

    Exactly!!!
As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I believe this was a letdown fight for Taylor.
You can’t possibly go from beating Savages like Regis and Ramírez to fighting a guy most people don’t know and keep that same fire.
Josh and everyone else badly underestimated how good Catterall is but I think your 100% correct, he wouldn’t beat Regis and Ramírez.
He would also struggle in a rematch as Josh would have a fire in his belly...

Sometimes a guy just has another guys number. Look at Mayorga and Forrest, Tarver and Jones for example. Catterall dominated Taylor and never really looked hurt.

It's no surprise that the posters with the best reputation for scoring fights are in unanimous agreement here.

I just watched the fight from beginning to end in a quiet place with no distractions.

    Absolutely robbery.

As bad as the robbery GGG suffered twice against Clenelo in terms of margin of victory and still not getting the win.

    Catterall - Taylor
    10-9
    10-9
    10-9
    10-9
    10-9
    9-10

    9-10
    10-8
    9-10
    8-10
    10-8
    10-9

    116-110

This was so much like the robbery loss that GGG suffered in the rematch vs Clenelo.
To win that big and lose that clearly in a big fight isn’t acceptable.

The result should be overturned it’s that blatantly wrong.

Can anyone that voted for Taylor just take a step back and set their ego aside? Literally 7% of the people think Taylor won the fight. And among those 7%, I am willing to bet nearly all of them fall into two categories:
    1) Taylor fans
    2) Contrarians
