    We all know this is more important.

    For Noobs, this isn't who won the fight. Its Who won the Event.

    It's very important here on ESB. For example Vitali won the Event against Lewis. But Chisora won the Event against Vitali.

    floyd didnt get to troll his opponent like he does pre during and after the fight

    You could probably make an argument for both, but with the amount of love floyds been getting I think he's the only logical choice.

    Mayweather. I actually think both guys came out looking good. Cotto showed everyone that he's still a top level fighter, and set himself up for some future paydays. That being said, this is about the best result Mayweather could've hoped for. Had he annihalated Cotto, everyone would've just said that Cotto is shot. Had he won a controversial decision, his stock would've went down. He ended up winning, competitive yet clear and decisive victory. There was no doubt that he was the better fighter, but Cotto performed well enough where there is no doubt that he's far from finished. I would love to say both guys won the event. If I had to pick one guy though, I'll go with the guy who won the fight on the cards, and in the minds of the overwhelming majority of observers.
