Who won the fight, Haney or Loma?

Loma, but he left himself open to getting robbed. And the judges obliged.

Was 8-4 or 7-5 Loma in reality tho with proper scoring.

For 3 years this forum has been hating on Haney.

Like it or not whenever his stepped up in opposition Haney has won.

 

Exactly, it's ruining the industry.It's a popularity contest than the sweet science.

 

Every time this happens, I lose a little love for boxing. The problem is with boxing, for the 1% of the time when it is at its very best it delivers levels of excitement and drama which I believe no other sport can rival.

The other 99% of the time it is a cynically scripted business. It is what it is. It’s the possibility of experiencing those 1% moments which keeps me coming back but its getting harder to stay invested in it.

especially when the entire blue riband division is being held hostage by Saudi blood money right now. The rest of the business is led by the heavies.

Loma won this fight. Haney fought valiantly but Loma was robbed of a career defining victory against a prime young lion. It’s sports entertainment, not a sport.

 

He didn't actually win though. Maybe on paper, but there's video evidence it didn't happen.

 

America does it again. Clear Loma win.

It was a clear and boring decision for Haney.

Even if Loma had won the 12 th (which he didn't) a majority draw would have been way generous to him.

If Loma gets a rematch, he needs to find a solution to that right to the body which lost him the fight.
