Canelo gave GGG a lesson in body punching (again) and a lesson in power punching, but GGG did give Canelo a lesson in jabbing. The problem for GGG was that his jabs while connecting were not all that effective and they did not deter Canelo one bit. Canelo simply outworked GGG round after round until those later rounds where GGG rallied. But by that time, Canelo had already put a lot of the early rounds in the bank by just overwhelming GGG with constant aggression over the first 2/3s of the fight. Even Abel Sanchez whispered into G's ear in one of the rounds that GGG was losing. So it was a valiant comeback in those late rounds by GGG. He showed some heart in making it a fight, but it was a case of too little too late. Canelo had already put a whopping on GGG in the first half of the fight and GGG made his last stand.
They count but you have to compare them against what Canelo was landing which was more effective and impressive most of the rounds.
Either way you slice it, not all people lack sense and are too dumb to see that GGG really won that fight and Clenelo, ONCE AGAIN, was the recipient of a gift decision. Over time, after enough articles are written about this fight and boxing channels break down for fans how GGG really won... this 70% for Genbady will rise even higher And people can always watch the fight for themselves. They will know who really should have gotten the victory.
