Same apart from I can't see how anyone can give Canelo 5 rounds. As a boxing fan you would think we would get used to this shite but it still feels like a kick in the nuts.

CompuBox stats: GGG was busier but Canelo landed more power punches. Perhaps this is what gave him the margin of victory.

Ironically, It looks like you were influenced by Lederman's (he of the "Horrible Scorer" fame) scorecard.

    116-113 Canelo. 7-4-1(even)

Other possible scores I saw: 8-3-1 or 6-5-1 for Canelo.

I didn't see GGG winning but I gotta re-watch it. Canelo just looked better.

Again, another good reason to post up the judges' scores for fan viewing at the end of each round
so everyone knows what the situation is.

Can someone tell me where they get so many power shots for Canelo? I guess blocked punches count when you're Canelo.

Not at all. I scored it differently than Harold and don't think highly of him tbh.

I also scored the first fight for Canelo. I am trying my best to stay non biased

Interesting point, but similarly I gave Canelo lots of early rounds as he was the one on the offensive and the aggressor. Agreed GGG won later rounds, but he looked extremely vulnerable and out of ideas at the end of the 5th and had lost too many by then.

GGG won more easily then the 1st fight. the morons scoring it for canelo giving it to him because he came forward. so what he ate the job all night long lol... shameful the hold Oscar has on boxing with these judges.

What a robbery. HBO totally in the tank for Canelo. Kellerman and Lampley have to wipe the jism off their lips .. Canelo is the most pampered , packaged fighter since King handled the old version of Chavez. Horrendous.

As one of the people on here who absolutely doesn't
like Golovkin, for the second time I believe he beat Canelo.
I also realized going in that he was never gonna get a win
unless he ko'd Canelo, it is what it is.
