I thought alvarez would win a close decision coming in due to golovkins aging. At the end of the day, ggg controlled the entire fight with the jab and enough power shots to win. He swept 7-12 on my card
If I watched it again fair chance I'd give it to GGG but tbh I didn't have a problem with the decision.
8-4, 7-5 ggg, no way Canelo won the fight, but every knows you needs at least 9 rounds to beat Canelo.
HBO is totally in tank for Bivol, GGG, and KOV and they are sinking fast. Canelo is headed to showtime
The poll numbers should tell you everything that you need to know about who really won the fight and how people saw it. I give Canelo credit for being a tough hombre but he didn’t win. Was a close but clear win for GGG. Figured he wasn’t going to get a fair shake on the scorecards again.
It looks like it’s 75/25 in favour of ggg from the boxing community at the moment from reports. Byrd meanwhile had Canelo winning via KO
No, the truth is that Canelo has an official draw and a win over GGG, and along with his other accomplishments this will more than likely put him ahead of GGG in terms of legacy. You can cry all you want but that's the truth.
i will cry, thank you. this sucks. its not very fun to watch your favorite sport be disgraced. I couldnt possibly care less who won. Just wanted a fair outcome esp after last time. no such luck
