Canelo Alvarez won the fight tonight by majority decision. Did you miss it? As far as who we think won, I scored it a draw.
i think you have your semantics backward on this one. Canelo got the decision from three people, but lost the fight. Just wont have one added to his record.
You guys need to learn how to score fights or at least watch the fight in HD, Jesus Christ. Canelo 7 rounds to 5. Close but clear.
I feel there are 6 rounds that could be given to GGG. GGG is old now and it showed with his reflexes. Not sure there should be a 3rd fight, even given how close the two still are. I had to turn down HBO, all night they slobbered all over Canelo.
This time i had it draw 114-114. A lot closer than the first fight in which i had it 116-112 Golovkin. I think that it was actually very close fight this time and there is no possibility for Golovkin to win a decision in Vegas ever at least against Canelo / GBP. But it is very obvious that Golovkin is past his best now. Again next to zero body punches. He looked bad against Brook and also lost like 5 rounds against Jacobs. Getting slower and GGG was never fast to begin with. Golovkin should try to get third fight against Canelo just for the money at least and may be he has to give it a go and try to aim for the KO next time or at least throw some body punches for a change.
Personally I had this fight a draw, BUT if I had to give it to someone, Canelo had the effective aggression, much like last time 3G had the aggression edge.
Closer than the first fight. Ggg still deserved to win but I didn't even wait for the decision to know that Canelo was getting the nod. I don't understand why GGG didn't throw his left hook. Wouldn't even be surprised if he threw the fight to get a trilogy. Big ppv fights are dead to me now.
Rubio, Murray, Willie J, Lemmy, Wade, Brook, Jacobs, Can, Vanes. A solid 8 defence run at MW, nothing to be ashamed of. 3G fans should be proud. Just ahead of Sergio Martinez, but solidly behind Arthur Abe.
