Watching live I had it 7-5 for GGG.

A draw wasn’t out of the question. But I simply cannot find 7 rounds for Canelo.

Cards should have been 115-113 x2 for GGG and a 114-114.

    Vegas, baby.

It could be the peds but no one has ever busted up GGGs face like that. I have to watch it again but I would say a draw would have been fair, it was a super close fight with a lot ofI have to watch a third fight with just see an older Golovkin lose definitively. it's hard for me to give Canelo too much credit because of the prior ped usage and shadiness of Golden Boy/Oscar De La Hoya.

That's not really why people are so upset. Sure, Golovkin got screwed twice in a row, but if it hadn't been for the first fiasco I think people could have lived with the second result. The fight was legitimately close. The wrong guy won but the cards weren't far off the truth. What I think hurts is that people were expecting redemption but were denied. We had a chance to reverse a miscarriage of justice, instead we made it worse. It's as if instead of pardoning Jack Johnson Trump had found new charges to add retroactively. I think people feel like no matter what GGG does he can't win. If he beats Canelo in a third fight he still won't get the decision. The game is fixed and people are outraged.

The older you get, the more skin loses its elasticity. Which is why wrinkles happen. If you look at guys like Rios and Margarito, they absorbed obscene punishment in the prime and barely ever showed marks on their face. Look at the fights where they're shot now and their faces are destroyed.

People keeps saying GGG outlanded Canelo with the jab, but what about the uppercuts and lead rights?

Outside of a few good shots early, Canelo struggled to land all night. He actually landed better punches in the first fight. In last nights fight, he had most of his powershots blocked or slipped.

GGG landed jabs like he always did, but he also landed a lot more uppercuts in this fight.

But why no body shots, like none? It was conspicuous in both fights. Tons of jabs and no body shots. I know Golovkin knows how to do it. He KO'd Macklin on a body shot. Why won't he throw body shots at Canelo?

GGG 7-5. There were a few swing rounds in there and I have to rewatch it to get a more permanent scorecard. I don't agree that just because rounds are close that giving it to either guy is justified.
