Who won the rematch Marquez or Pacquiao

Pac blocks alot more punches than he gets credit for. He is just so light on his feet that people think it lands. Often times a guy lands a shot on Pac's guard and Pac jumps back quickly, and people think it landed. HBO's blow by blow guy dickriding JMM doesn't help.

JMM won both, but a draw was fair in the first one. JMM pretty much did a miracle and cameback after being dropped 3 times. That's determination.

I had Marquez up but with the knockdown I don't think it was crazy arguable. I had it 115/113, I believe.

 

It was mighty close, think I had Pac by one point, but could not argue with a draw, a narrow JMM win.

That fight HL something to me, that Pac has a tendency to stop throwing when he starts getting hit. You can cut his activity down somewhat if you start hitting him consistently.

 

Pacquaio would destroy Marquez at this juncture.

What are the punch stats? These poll options are lame. I highly doubt Marquez landed more punches.

 

This is probably the 100th thread about MP/JMM.

MP by a point. If you had it for JMM then it's all good the fight was close. Judges score rounds depending on their preference. There are judges that prefer the ones that is aggressive and landing the more effective shots. IMO, MP was the one landing the more effective shots. When the rounds finished it's JMM who looked dazed and hurt.

 

First fight Pacquiao landed more than Marquez. Second fight Marquez landed more than Pacquiao.
