I agree that he was roided. I also think that Pac was roided for most of his career, except for the period during which Mayweather cleverly accused Pac of steroid use while juicing himself.

So technically, it was an even playing field.

Marquez did, no doubt about it, outboxed Pacman and when the judges robbed him the victory he left no doubts. Marquez knocked off Pacquiao from his pedestal and erased any silly nonsense like the comparisons to Duran. Pacquiao was great, but never on that level.

 

Only one fight had a definitive winner JMM

 

Pac battered him around in the first. 2 and 3 were stalemates. Pacquiao was on his way to TKO'ing Marquez in the 4th til Marquez managed to execute the punch he'd been trying to set up.


After it's all said and done JMM edged out the win in the rivalry with a spectacular finish. Pac and JMM are both great champions who will be talked about for years to come.
