There is no feasible way to have scored that fight other than a win for DLH. Even scoring it a draw would show your vast lack of knowledge of how to score a professional boxing match.
116-113 Oscar last time I scored it. Could have it closer perhaps but there's no way I could make a case for Tito winning.
I deducted points from Oscar for running and had Trinidad up by one. Normal scoring though, clear Oscar win.
De La Hoya clearly won. Even if you think De La Hoya was too passive and ran it still doesn't mean Tito wins rounds by just following him around and not landing anything.
Easy fight to score actually, 116-112 for Oscar, at WORST 115-113. Tough giving Tito more than 2 rounds the first 10, he simply couldn't land a meaningful punch, he was busted up and just getting outboxed pretty easily. The thing about Tito winning that is interesting, is Tito DIDN't win by doing anything in the fight, Tito won for what Oscar didn't do in closing the show. Not sure if I ever saw that before. Ring Generalship went to Oscar, Oscar inflicted way more damage, and landed 100 more punches. It was clear each round through the 10th who was landing the better shots and more of them. I believe to this day Don King had the judges paid off though and don't think Oscar no matter what happened was going to win on the scorecards. He had to KO tito to win that fight, and he should have stepped on the gas around round 8 when it seemed tito's legs were getting weaker and almost buckling from some of Oscars combos.
i was disappointed but his corner did instruct him to do that. Exact words if I remember right from Alcazar after the 9th or 10th "no more of that **** (sticking and throwin combos), box and we go home"
