The AP scored it 115-113 for de la Hoya and didn't see Ole Fishnets sweeping the first 8 rounds nor did they see your "robbery". Does the AP not know how to score a fight too?

    Fair enough.

Please post the scorecard of someone credible who, in your opinion, knows how to score a fight.

What the hell does that completely different fight have to do with the Trinidad one? Whitaker overall landed more punches but Oscar landed more power punches throughout (where as oscar landed more of both vs. tito) Oscar landed the cleaner, harder punches and won a very close fight. Whitaker didn't fight hard enough and clowned too much, especially in the last round. I had it 115-113 for Oscar.
But I did have oscar losing against Mosley in their first fight and losing against Sturm.

Oscar won atleast 7 of the first 10. That is all he needed to win to take the fight. How you say Oscar didn't come to fight, yet tito's face was busted up and oscar landed WAY more clean punches is beyond me. I really hope you aren't a floyd fan going by your complete lack of rationale.

YES, definitely. Hatred sometimes clouds reasoning.
I've even seen Trinidad fans from puerto rico many times saying they hated oscar but had to admit he won the fight and others who say tito won but can't come up with a shred of rationale except to say he came forward lol
I've personally never seen a least deserving champion after that fight. Coming forward, missing most of your punches while your opponent landed twice as many and busted your face up, yet somehow come out with the W. And again, this is why this fight is always rated in top 3 worst decisions in big fight history articles. It was truly a stinker. Tito didn't win the fight based ON WHAT HE DID, he won the fight based on what OSCAR DIDN'T do in the final 2-3 rounds (completely dismissing the first 9-10) seems to be the conclusion, which is ridiculous. But as I said before, Oscar was never supposed to win on the cards, his only chance to beat Tito and those paid off judges, was to KO him and take the judges out of the game.

This post makes a lot more sense than the so called scoring experts on ESB. Personally I don't think most of them could score drugs in a ghetto.

A judge is well within his rights to penalise a fighter for refusing to fight, and in the 10th, 11th, and 12th that is exactly what Oscar did. Refuse to fight.

I personally think he did enough in the first 9 rounds to win, but I'm not one of the judges, who may well have given particularly the 11th and 12 to Tito by 10 - 8 scores simply because Oscar refused to fight.

If that was the case, all of a sudden Tito has made up 12 points over 2 rounds. Just an example.
