Aggression alone doesn't win rounds. EFFECTIVE aggression does, which Trinidad's was not. And it doesn't matter, because De La Hoya outboxed him.
Duh, I know that. But for most of the fight, De La Hoya was outboxing Trinidad. And if there was a rematch, De La Hoya would have been more aggressive.
It does if the opponent's aggression isn't effective, which Trinidad's wasn't. You think aggression is just moving forward and throwing punches. It's meaningless if those punches miss. Rounds are also scored on ring generalship, which De La Hoya did.
It is when you use what you call running, to throw and land more punches as well as land the harder and cleaner punches.
When are ripping body shot combinations down stairs and flush straight right hands pitty pat punches. The harder, cleaner punches were landed by De La Hoya.
i watched the fight when it happened. the only time i watched and it and oscar won easy.. did himself no favors wut he did at the end but really wasnt a bad plan it should have worked an he was just listening to his corner anyways.
