    Plain and Simple.

115-114 Calzaghe. Hopkins was too old and fought like a ***** all night. 10 years ago, maybe, but tonight he got beat.

Hopins landed the beter shots but you can't land one shot and hold for the rest fo the round and expect to win. After seeing tnoght I do think that hops would win in a prime for prime scenario though

Amazing you call a counter puncher a *****, yet Calzaghe threw amateur slaps all night like a woman.

Hopkins threw ONE PUNCH and held. Just like Ricky Hatton gets crucified for, except at least Hatton tries to fight out of a clinch instead of headbutting the other guy.

Seriously, Hopkins tried to steal this fight with single shots. no combinations, no aggression, always running, always clinching, faking injuries, moaning to the referee. ****ing guy did not deserve to be called a PROFESSIONAL after a performance like that. That was incredibly unprofessional and unsportsmanlike.

    Amatuer slaps? Get real.

I can count on one hand how many punches joe landed in the first 7 rounds. He actually didnt land a solid punch until round 8 and his biggest highlight of the fight besides slapping air and gloves was his pathetic attempt at gay porn. Him and his dad were frustrated the whole night. I loved it when at the end of round 11 enzo says, "what are you doing out there", joe says "hes cheating" hahahaha...what a lil *****! Hopkins won the fight with the knockdown and on clean effective punching.

I hate Calzaghe and his pitty pat punching sucks ass but Hopkins wasnt busy enough. You're original post is contradictory though. How in the hell can Hopkins fight like a ***** but only lose by a point? A one round shift and he wins?????

I gave it to Calzaghe but the win doesn't mean anything to me and I wouldn't watch the fight again because it was crap.

Bad style match-up for Bernard. Joe outhustled him. Hopkins looked like the stronger man to me and I think if he stepped it up he'd have even surprised himself. The fighting itself was dreadful to watch for me but the humor was...beautiful.

Calzaghe won, but I would have loved to have seen a rematch.
