You can play on the words all you want but if you take robbery away and say incorrect decision can you argue? I’ll watch it back tonight and score it RBR. I actually had money on Josh to win! And I think he lost.
7-5 Galahad for me, though he should have lost a point for that holding. He was slipping and pivoting the same way like 90 percent of the time, Warrington should have picked up on that more. Ugly fight.
I thought Kid would win and wanted him to but he didn't do enough in the last two rounds. I had it 5-5 going into the 11th but I had had to give Warrington the last two because Kid hardly threw a punch.
I had it a draw, but can't really be trusted with the scoring in this fight because I really wanted Kid A-twad to lose.
I had it very close but wasn't really scoring round by round. Overall I thought Galahad did enough but I didn't have the best view Galahad and the Ingle gym had a good game plan. Warrington on the front food is very good and he drags almost anybody into a fight. Galahad stopped this by putting Warrington on the back foot/slowing his attacks down by holding the centre of the ring I think Barry wins the rematch, if it ever happened, I don't think Warrington has an answer to that game plan.
Warrington has had 3 titles fights in the space of just over 12 months, KG on the other hand is a drug cheat so are we really annoyed that he didn’t get the nod !? I felt KG was slick in parts and neutralised how Warrington can put the pressure on you but I cannot agree with hugging and holding on as much as he did and not mount an overwhelming or an accumulation of offence over 12 rounds because in my opinion he didn’t do enough to deserve the win. I think a draw would’ve been a fairer out come l, 116-112 is a bit generous to Warrington but none the less i don’t think either fighter was a clear winner.
I think all drug cheats should be banned for life, it’s the only way to stop it. But whilst the rules are what they are and they’re allowed to box then we need to be fair and impartial and keep the integrity of the sport by scoring fair and correct.
Funny ain't it when it suits the title needs ripping away when said fighter is the challenger i don't believe in ripping a title away a win is a win Fickle as the kid nullified josh s work rate and inaccurate volume And knew Josh could not knock him out
I agree whole heartedly, drug cheats should be banned for life, where it gets tricky is when you an athlete has ‘unknowingly’ taken a supplement or substance that has been tainted. Just like a lot of products they’re made in China or in places where other stuff is also made and can be contaminated. But when it’s a clear cut case like Miller I think a life time ban is justified and warranted, EPO and such substances are banned for a reason, when you are in a sport where the objective is the cause harm to each other and you have a physical advantage because you have used artificial substances to get ahead then you should be ashamed and not be allowed to fight professionally again imo.
drug chest you mean the guy in your avatar Or are we setting theses and bring double standards a shift of the goal post as and when it suits there both from minorities and both are drug cheats simple but if you excuse one you have to excuse the other So whilst your shytting on the kid we have to shyte on the furious once claim to pineal as there was a cloud that was not removed over what went on
Then by the same logic I used with Galahad, Fury should not be allowed to fight which is what I would stand by. I’m not using flawed logic, but Galahad is able to fight just as Fury is so why are you getting your back up about it ? Just because I chose to have a picture of something I like doesn’t mean I’m going to contradict myself or use flawed logic to argue a position. And lastly I don’t control who uses PED’s or what the politics dictate who can still fight. It’s just my opinion.
I'd give it to Barry personally. Bad fight. Warrington came forward swinging at 1.5x speed, as expected. He missed a lot because Barry is just good enough to make this style look a bit shabby and unintelligent. But although Barry landed some good pot shots, he was on the back foot and never himself looked authoritative and like he wanted to grab a hold of the fight. He missed plenty too. In the end it's a kind of pick'em that has more to do with what you favour as a judge rather than specific events in the round. If you favour work ethic and a display of 'warrior code' then most rounds go to Warrington. If you favour an attempt at 'educated punch picking' then you've got to go with Barry for some of the close rounds. I preferred Barry slightly, but this is a 'least worst option' sort of pick. I can understand judges simply feeling that Warrington wished to make it a fight and Barry wished to spoil. In which case the cards make total sense.
Had the fight been refd properly kg wudda been docked points and forced to stop the holding. Josh wudda benefitted from this and won more comfortably. Certainly in USA Barry would not have been allowed to spoil the fight for the entire 12 rounds. I'm amazed Warrington, his corner didn't turn on the ref. I'm amazed the crowd didn't boo like mad. Kg will not be that lucky with a ref ever again. Josh would not be that badly caught out in s rematch now he knows what to expect. Also kg would never get as charitable a ref ever again. Josh would win a rematch relatively easily ImO. Not that I want to see a rematch. I don't think kg landed a combination in the entire fight. Hardly even a one_two. He is a one trick pony. Josh can lok at the film and adapt and there is more dimensions to his game. Kg can only do more of the same. Frampton would school Kid Grabahead IMO. Probably stop him.
