Mike The Body Snatcher McCallum. He stopped people with body shots... Also I loved Chavezs' bodywork too.

Hatton had a lot of body KDs & KOs. He was a beast.

Glad someone mentioned Hatton, it has become a little fashionable to overlook his strengths. His body shots got him where he was!

Yeah, when you get away from the superstars, like Duran and Chavez, Jirov comes to mind for sure. A pretty wicked fighter in his prime. Speaking of, Toney is also an excellent body puncher who does not neglect working downstairs. He may not have been committed to seeing his own abs, but he was committed to taking those shots as soon as they opened up. Anyway, I do think the absolute best would include Chavez Senior, Joe Frazier, McCallum and the obvious Sugar Nicky V.

Of course Floyd Patterson deserves a mention too, as do a lot of others. Right now, Bute, Juan Manuel Marquez and Matthysse are all top notch body punchers of this generation. As is, sad current career aside, Juan Carlos Gomez an excellent body puncher.

    True. Another good shout-out.

Devastating. That's what initially hurt Pazienza really badly in that fight and he stopped that one muscular dude that tried to brawl with him with a body shot well before the Virgil Hill KO.

Randall "Second to" Yonker, in the sense that body shots precipitated the stoppage, I suspect. Or not. ...
