    It landed against Fury.

And the Big Gypsy got up and won the remainder of the round.

And Zhang's chin is AT LEAST as good as Fury's.

Fury also has better head movement and doesnt take as many of those rights as Zhang would.

He`s easy to hit but too big to hurt, Usyk and Fury out-box him, he might beat everybody else, would like to see how he`d take Wilder`s power.

Zhang parried more than half of everything Joyce threw tonight.

    And Zhang can counter.

If Zhang counters a Wilder miss with one of those monster jabs, Wilder might be a bit reluctant to use the ONLY thing he's got.

He`d struggle to hit Fury with head shots.

Too frail, no way he takes the shots Joyce took and Zhang has too much reach, plus he`d take Whyte`s shots for better than Whyte would take his straight left, too big and strong.

Every time a person wins one fight casual boxing fans act like they are some kind of deity. Zhang isn't anything special. He beat Joe Joyce a guy who has to the slowest heavyweight I ever seen. Also Zhang is a 6'6 or 240 pound guy who comes in the ring 270 because most heavyweights are fat. You do realize there have been guys who were 6'7 250 pounds plus like Michael Grant for years? Being 6'6 isn't some new thing

    Good, insightful virgin post, face.

Yep, he beat Joyce...Nothing special there.

Joyce was the fifth ranked HW on the planet (maybe the third ranked), 15-0-0 (14 KOs), coming off a run of four KOs over ranked opposition.

And Zhang battered him around the ring and stopped him.

I feel Zhang's one of those Corrie Sanders guys who can upset top fighters one night and get beaten by journeymen the next. Someone like Carlos Takam might beat him. Or someone who can take his straight left away from him.

I also still think Joshua smashes him up like he did the Olympics.

Zhang and AJ are far bigger than they were in tyhe olympics, I don`t think AJ could stay away from Zhang`s power for 12 rounds.

I’ve been watching boxing 25 years and boxed myself as an amateur. I don’t watch the most fights these days but I am hardly a casual. I think Zhang was a little bit special tonight. Top 5 heavy today. A very good boxer like Fury or Usyk would probably beat him but he stands a very good chance against Wilder and Joshua would be too afraid to throw against him.

Plenty of people could beat Zhang. Anyone with ok stamina who is capable of being defensively responsible can. Just have to box cautiously for 5 or 6 rounds and then up your volume. Even a fighter with relatively poor stamina could 6-0 Zhang over rounds 7-12 if they stay upright.

This is a fair point but I still don’t think there is many who could do it. He is a good boxer so the outboxing for 6 rounds part isn’t easy at all.

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, even a version of Parker from a few years ago could eke out a decision against Zhang imo. He was probably resilient enough to survive the early rounds and would throw enough flurries to sweep most of the late rounds. Zhang’s work rate is so low that he’s susceptible to relatively ‘non special’ guys beating him.
