I think it's safe to say it's Floyd. He's the undefeated fighter and the favorite in this matchup. Both guys have their legacies pretty much cemented at this juncture as being the 2 very best of their era and true ATG's. A loss for either guy won't make me look at their ATG status any differently, especially since both men are past their primes now. But whoever wins this fight will solidify themselves as the very best of their generation and probably help them move up a few spots in the mythical P4P ATG lists.
Floyd's whole image is build around him being "undefeated", better as Pac by default and because of this the best f-er. Losing to Pac would put everything in a completely different perspective and actually debunk all of his bull. Pac has already lost in a more devastating way as Floyd would ever be able to and doesn't have much left to prove. He is supposed to lose, while Floyd has to win.
Floyd. For all the years of trash talking and boasting. If he loses, people will think he's a fraud. He's held to a much higher standard than Pacquiao. Pacquiao has already lost like 5* times. Losing to Floyd is expected and won't be new territory for Pac.
Easily Floyd because his whole resume is built on his undefeated record. Whereas Manny's resume is built on quality opposition. Floyd has little to fall back on if he loses.
Manny already has five losses. If his sixth loss comes in the biggest money fight ever, no problem. His fans back home will all still love him until he dies. He doesn't "have" to win. Floyd has no losses. The first one is always the toughest. If that loss comes against this guy - who many felt he's been avoiding for years - it's going to cut deep. He "has" to win, because a loss here is one of those things that could turn into one loss after another. And 90 percent of Mayweather's image is about "winning" ... not coming up short or getting embarrassed in the ring.
