In the current group of figthers, there are a few who could obvioulsy benifit from upgrading their current team.

Who do you think would be the best match ups for these guys?

Shawn Porter - Great base skills, speed, power, but needs to be more active and have someone help correct his mistakes.

Broner - This kid is physically gifted, but likes to showboat a lot. Once he gets a beat down and rededicates himself I think he could be something big.

Arreola - Has patience, skill and heart, good instinct and ability to finish. I think he needs a dedicated fitness coach and a new trainer (IMO).

    My thoughts:

Shawn Porter should go to train with Roach after Manny retires and he can get some attention there. He's worked with Roach previously, likes it there and has the right style to mesh well as part of that team.

Broner - Absolutely needs to go train with the Mayweathers. Birds of a feather... Plus he is obviously trying to emulate Floyd. If that doesnt work out, then possibly Pernell Whitaker could train him.

Arreola - Anne Wolf. Without a doubt, she would light a fire in Chris. If he thinks he's focused now, he has no idea... The guy would be a ****ing beast after training there for 6 months.

At first glance, you would think Steward. Paul has that tall, lanky Hearns look. However, his style isn't about fighting outside or "fighting tall", which steward is a master at teaching.

Steward/Williams would be mean retooling Williams entire style.

Williams might do well with the aggressive, come forward style Robert Garcia teaches.

Shawn Porter - Freddie Roach. I agree with you, his style is consistent with what Roach can do wonders with, failing that Ronnie Shields.

Broner - Floyd Senior. Not Roger or Jeff. Senior will tweak him technically and add defensive awareness, Broner has the physical talent, Co-ordination and skill to do whatever Senior wants him too.

Arreola - Is a tough one. It would never happen but if he came here to the Joe Gallagher gym he'd be whipped into shape. In terms of the USA/Mexico, I'm reluctant to say Anne Wolfe, because I think her relationship with Kirkland is one in a million. He may do well (only as a wildcard option) with Lamont Petersons trainer.

    Agree.

Not sure about Anne myself because I don't know that Chis has the desire and internal fortitude to make it there. Anne will make or break you.

I think if he wanted it bad enough, that would be like a boot camp. After half a dozen tough fights with her he would be a completely different fighter.
