Donaire's win over Nishioka is way overrated. He was shaky, made a lot of mistakes and Donaire capitalised on them. Nishoika threw the fight away. That's not an impressive win to me.

A points win over smaller guys and he's he's the best thing ever? He's clearly ducking Rigo. People's standards are to low.

I'd say Danny Garcia and a dark horse candidate might be Leo Santa Cruz

    Donaire or Rios

Santa Cruz darkhorse for being just a ****ing workhorse, inside the ring and taking so many fights in a year...

Carl Froch has only had 1 legitimate win this year, and though that inidividual performance over bute could be argued for victory of the year over Bute, I don't think a stoppage of Yusuk Mack does much else for him to be honest.

As for Canelo, a stoppage over former 140lber and a UD over ancient Mosely again, aren't enough in my opinion.

Broner had 3 stoppages over good opponents (though the circumstances of the first were absolutely shitty)

I think Mathysse is a good shout, as is Viloria

I'm not sure over Donaire man I rate his win over Vasquez, Mathubula...meh

As for Nikiosha, I dunno man. When the fight was signed, much like with Arce, I was dissapointed as the guy while once great was obviously past his best to me, I expecrted him to beat him from pillar to post, I'm also dissapointed in him for avoiding Rigo

I think there aren't too many standout nominees this year

Rigo has had 3 good performances this year and has another one coming up in 2 weeks, he could sneak it

Carl Froch beat a top 10 in style, he also looked impressive against Mack. Canelo also stopped Lopez.
As for Donaire, he looked shaky and didn't meet P4P opposition or boxers with huge name like Mosley.
