Murray, Macklin, pirog, Jacobs, Sergio, GGG, Sturm, HNN , bursak. etc ..also probably a fit Chavez Jnr, possibly Andy Lee....etc etc

In other words, lots of em!

    Isnt Pirog retired?

I dont see Lee, HNN, Jacobs or Murray doing well vs Stevens. Murray mostly cause of the style matchup, not cause hes not good in his own way. The rest are good fights, except GGG/Martinez which are one sided.

Fit, determined JCCjr beats a lot of people. But he is neither, so kinda moot.

I'd say JCC Jr, Sergio maybe Sturm could outbox him. Pirog is retired and even if he comes back we don't know how he will be, I think Macklin, Murray, HNN would get KOed.

The real question is who would Stevens beat at 160. So far he hasn't beaten anybody of note.

There was actually some people on here who was predicting a Stevens upset .

That's a bit harsh on Macklin Murray and HNN.
Murray is very big and strong with an airtight guard and much better fundamentals than the crude Curtis.

H.N.N. Is very fast skillful and elusive. Gutsy too.

Macklin does leave himself open, so would give him a chance, but Curtis is vulnerable defensively himself so this cuts both ways! Mack hits hard with both hands too, you know......

Yeah lencore, you have a point. With Murray though, he is still there to be hit.. and I just think static but tight guards have issues versus fast , popping hands. He seems vulnerable to whizzing counters to me, from a guy like Stevens. I think he would find that out quick in the fight, and keep his hands at home too much and lose a UD.

HNN I peg to lose because I think Stevens presents many of the same problems to him as Quillin, and he lost to Quillin.

Macklin vs Stevens I think is a 50/50 fight. Geale and Sturm I think I would favor to just outbox him, avoid his quick power early and move and beat on him late after his power faded a bit. Still all good fights though IMO.

I've said this a stack of times, but Stvens is a dangeous f#kker at 160 - essentially he can be outboxed, but unless someone is able to hurt him he's always gonna be one of those guys who'll be able to get a KO at any time.

There ain't many I'd confidently pick against him - Geale perhaps, Sturms jab would give him fits, Murray perhaps if he closed up, but hell it wouldn't look pretty for MM - any time he tried to open up I suspect he'd get hurt. Sergio would have his number (Martinez that is - though Mora would also be a tricky fight)- probably Korobov, so long as he didn't try to look exciting....And non of these would be close to guaranteed wins just probables.

idk who beats his but stevens is a very good fighter who can compete wit alot of the top guys. he didnt really compete that much vs GGG but niether did macklin or ne of the others.

i would really like to see stevens/murray or stevens/macklin
or even that other black dude that macklin was suppose to fight . but instead macklin fought that lamar russ dude. that dude vs stevens at 160 would b another good one.
