Why are people bringing Ouma fight? Must we compare 2011 version of GGG against best 160 MW or GGG is the only fighter who struggled in his career? Shame on him, hahaha

It depends when they’d have fought.

With hindsight he would have been.

He had more overall ability, a stronger resume, better wins and he accomplished more.

    He was just more proven.

Even with this shot senior citizen version of GGG you can hear the power in every shot with both hands, both upstairs and downstairs. Great punch variety too and that's a delicious uppercut. Let's not forget that titanium chin of his in his prime either, criminally underrated subtle defense and boxing ability too which escaped the attention of many casuals, and of course that brilliant ramrod jab. A superb jab, very underrated boxing ability and defense, not a granite chin but a titanium one, great punch variety, a good engine, and savage bone breaking KO punching power in both hands. Prime GGG ain't no joke.

Let's also not forget that he should have 2 wins over the greatest fighter of our generation even though he was past/way past his prime and said greatest fighter was jacked out of their mind on PEDs.

I sense some bitterness towards Canelo here. Telling yourself Canelo was jacked out of his mind on PEDs might make you feel better but it isn't consistent with the amount of testing Canelo was subject to. Him popping for clen is constantly exaggerated by his haters to be argued he was jacked on PEDs, to make excuses for why GGG lost. It's a ridiculous claim given what we know about clen in Mexico and given how regularly Canelo has been tested throughout his career. As far as how tough GGG was to beat and how good he is as a fighter, past prime when he fought Canelo or not, the versions of GGG who fought Canelo were arguably tougher to beat then many fighter's peak versions. So you get no argument from me when it comes to how good and how tough GGG was in his prime, when he fought Canelo, and even now at a more advanced age. Losing to Canelo does not diminish how great of a fighter GGG was and still is, all it shows is that his fans overhyped him too much, underrated how good Canelo was and was shocked at how Canelo dealt with GGG and conquered that mountain that none of GGG's fans thought was possible.

Actually Ouma was coming off a fight vs Martirosyan that he should have won. He was fighting one last great fight while GGG was having a very bad night. GGG still got the stoppage which rarely happens to Ouma.

Curry and Jackson may be the best names on McCallum`s resume and those fights were at 154, those were McCallum`s best performances.

Head to head Golovkin can beat anyone in history. Would he every time? No, but on his best night he could beat any MW in history.

He also beat prime versions of Sumbu Kalambay, Herol Graham and Michael Watson.

Many people also think that he deserved the win in the first Toney fight.
