great list my friend:good and if you're new, welcome to the forum only disagreement would be spinks at 154
its only maybe duran and sugar ray at 135/140 and 147 respectivly also are we talkin 12 or 15 rounds|?
i don't know, that's the one guy i have objection with. he wasn't as fast or nearly as powerful as mayweather. i see floyd walking him down ala judah (thanks bigreg)
ok at 15 im still gonna say sugar and duran but i also like sweat pea (nt becuse of the new 15 round thing i just had s good thnk about it and liked him the fight)
good picks. duran said in a fight with mayweather he'd fight his fight. outspeed him, outbox him, out everything him. haha, i love duran. that crazy ****er would try, and probably succeed, at it to
Guys like Duran, Hagler, Pryor, Hearns and SRL would certainly give Floyd all he could handle. Stick Floyd in the ring with any of them in a 15 round fight and he gets beaten IMO Some people are a little blind where Floyd is concerned regarding his '0', let me give your minds a little to think about. Castillo gave Floyd 2 tough fights (won the 1st in my mind) an old De La Hoya and Zab Judah also gave him fits. OK now replace these guys(Zab Castillo ODLH..etc) with guys like this. good analysis but i think guys who are superior to mayweather physically with the mental strength to back it up (ie: ike williams, unlike zab judah) have an even better chance
At 147 Ill add in Trinidad who could spark anyone with one shot. Maybe..on his best night emile giriffith. I think Hearns, Leonard, SRR all actually beat him. At 140 Zoo could quite possibly spark him. 135 You have a quite a few guys with a good chance, Leonard, gans and the previous mentioned. At 130 maybe the famous kid chocolate. He is the man at 130
:good very good picks. norris was alittle inconsistent as talented as he was, no one knew if the balls to the wall destroyer or the sharp boxer would appear fight night, but imo he was alittle overrated. also, he was also alittle chinny. i think norris floors floyd i have no doubt about it, but if anyone had a good chance to weather a terrible terry norris storm in the early rounds, it's probably floyd. i do think at 154lbs floyd would lose some speed, making him more hittable, especially with a snapping strong jab, but i don't think norris was as skillful as floyd and like in several fights he'd punch himself out like he did with keith mullings. i think floyd by split decision over norris. as for the rest, floyd was a beast at 130lbs and i think might of edged arguello, 135lbs he would of met his match with duran, whitaker, and ike williams, 140lbs pryor and floyd are complete opposites, but i think pryor edges it on his energy, workrate, power, and being as mouthy as floyd might of called floyd a ***** in the center of the ring and make floyd fight pryor's fight, and 147 hearns was a master jabber just as fast as floyd. floyd's leaning back or laying on ropes would of been target practice for hearns and floyd wouldn't be able to find the momentum change he usually is accostumed too in the middle to late rounds. only way to beat hearns as leonard and barkley showed is with power and standing your ground which floyd has neither.
Margarito has a better chance being his spit bucket guy than beating him. The only people that still buy into the bull**** Arum hype "most feared beast earth has ever known" are the mentally ******ed or the cabdrivers.
