Where's the proof? Who has he fought? Almost all of his opponents are slow plodding fighters - guys who he can easily potshot and get away from. The real fast fighter he faced (Judah) made him look ordinary.

He's a skilled fighter without a doubt. But ATG Talent? I don't think so. I could name a huge list of guys more talented then him.

    Floyd's best wins:

    Castillo
    Corales
    Gatti
    Baldomir
    Judah
    Old Oscar
    Hatton

This is a the resume of the man who claims he's the greatest fighter of all time. An 'ATG' talent. Am I missing something?

Yep, there are many fighters out there with the talent to fight just like Floyd does. But they would rather put on a show and earn their purse by beating the man in front of them, not just doing enough to win.

from his 18th fight on though, he fought the best around. until he hit it big, he took on the best starting with hernandez

His resume is perfectly acceptable. Is it enough to substantiate his claims of 'GOAT' or ATG talent? I dont' think so. He's faced carefully picked opposition - guys who he can easily use his physical advantages against. The guy who he didn't hold a speed advantage over (Judah) made him look very ordinary for 6 rounds.

    Boxrec?

I hope you have a decent connection but Youtube has been the place to visit lately. Go there and don't get carried away watching porno or something. If those are the only guys you recognized on boxrec then admit being a newbie at least.

I forgot to mention Chavez. Still not enough to call him ATG, or certainly GOAT. He's a very good fighter, very skilled. But he's faced physically outmatched opponents. He's also never been in a real fight. He's never shown how durable or resilient he is.

I always give Floyd full credit for his fights South of 140 and I give him credit for fighting DLH at a higher weight, but then again, no human on earth would turn that pay check down:-(

right on mate:good either way, saddler didn't carry the weight up well enough to contend with a fighter far slower than pep

    btw: drink of choice?

for the most part, but to be honest a lot of it is his skill. he takes his opponents physical strengths (judah-speed, oscar-size, hatton-strength, chavez, castillo-workrate, corrales-height, reach) out of the equation
