130 Arguello, Salvador Sanchez, Juan Manuel Marquez, PAC

135 A young Pernell Whitaker, PAC

140 Chavez, Kostya Tsyu, Duran, Jose Luis Castillo

147 Duran, Napoles, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler

not bad, but at 130 i think arguello was too slow, pac and marquez would both be outboxed, pac has done nothing at 135 to show he could stand with mayweather, at 140 KT didn't have the movement to catch floyd and hagler would've never made 147 without cutting off an arm

I apologize for the Hagler comment as I must have been drunk....

I would also like to add Mosley at 135 and ODLH at 147

130- Chavez, Nelson, and perhaps Camacho would stand good chances

135- Armstrong, Montgomery, Ortiz, Laguna, Buchanan, "Gato" Gonzalez, De Jesus, Duran, Whitaker, Mosley, etc would all stand at the very least even chances, most of which I'd favor

140- Ortiz, Loi, Perkins, Tszyu, Pryor, Chavez, De La Hoya, and Benitez would all stand at least even money chances

147- Robinson, Gavilan, Basilio, Griffith, Rodriguez, Cokes, Napoles, Leonard, Curry, Palomino, Cuevas, Starling, McGirt, Trinidad, Forrest, Hearns, Quartey, etc.

154- Kalule, McCallum, Norris, Jackson, Wright, Vasquez, Dupas, Benvenuti, etc.

I like Zab, and I still think he can beat Floyd and Shane, and he has the best chance to beat the rest of 140-147lbs, but he needs to stay disciplined and have a razor sharp focus otherwise...

:good even though Oscar's right hand is not as powerful as his left I still think the prime Oscar will beat Floyd. The 135lbs FMW likes to scrap and none of this too fvcking defensive style crap. Floyd would probably run into Oskie's left hook...lights out.

    130 - Chavez has a good chance.
135 - Duran, Whitaker, Chavez have a chance.
140 - Chavez, Pryor, Whitaker have a chance.
147 - How long have you got ?... too many to mention.
154 - Hearns easily just for a start.

The only weight were you WONT find a fighter with better than 50/50 odds to beat Floyd is 130 & even then Id give Chavez a 50/50 shot, Floyd was at his peak at this weight, JCC was excellent but peaked at 135 but he was still great at 130 & his style & technique will always trouble Floyd, in fact, trouble anyone.

I agree that Floyd was very exciting & attacking in all of those fights except the one in green.

He boxed Castillo, pot-shotted him to a clear UD, nothing wrong with that IMO, he showed the guy that he simply wasnt in his class in the art of boxing & thats always a great statement but it was the complete opposite of all those other fights you mentioned were Floyd threw lots of combinations & looked for the KO throughout, putting power ito his shots regularly, he didnt do that with Castillo, he was only interested in proving he was superior to JLC, which he proved beyond doubt.

    :good

there are so many men who would beat mayweather at 135 and 147 it would be pointless making a list , because there are dozens of them , at 130 i see this being very different , floyd at 130 would / could be one of the greats.
