Personally, the Fury worshiping has become insufferable to me now, I would laugh so hard if somehow he got chinned and stopped.

The meltdown from some of his increasingly unbearable fan base would be hilarious.

I like Fury too for the record.

I like Fury as well but his delusional fans are too much sometimes, only fans that’s worse is Canelo fans.

It would kill any talk of him being the GOAT, which I fully support.

I don't get the sense that a large proportion of his fanbase are delusional tho.. Fury is what he is , a freak HW who would be a handful in any era.. but nobody is seriously saying he's the greatest of all time etc.. you can pick out a few idiotic fans with any fighter.. the Wilder loop jobs think he lost because of a hallowe'en mask & a floppy glove  .. PBC crowd think Spence is the second coming LOL.. would I laugh? Not really.. pretty dumb reaction unless you're basically just a hater, I'd say fair play Whyte & admit I picked wrong. Don't let a tiny fringe minority of his fans bother you so much.. Unless it starts getting to the extent of the LDBC crowd with Wilder that turned into a irrational racially charged cult.

I wouldn't find Whyte and Hearn getting control of that title funny. But I wouldn't be completely surprised because Fury is overconfident with his aggression these days and his gravy-train trainer will probably eventually get Fury KO'd if the fights keep coming.

AJ got knocked silly and stopped by an obese walrus and completely outclassed in his backyard and stacked to high heaven deck by an inactive Usyk who had only fought twice in three years and one of those fights wasn't even decent sparring because his opponent only came to shell up and survive

The Bronze Dosser was taken to slick school on his own soil by the emaciated muscle atrophied drug-ravaged inactive ghost of Fury in Baptism I and had the soul beaten out of his body in biblical fashion and was brutally stopped twice in Baptism II and III, again on his own soil

Homeless Chisora has lost almost as many times as he's won

Whyte was knocked senseless by a robot and knocked spark out by Povetkin's excavated corpse

Fat Andy was taken to slick school by a robot in Saudi and he lost to Parker

Parker lost to a robot and Whyte

Old Man Ortiz was knocked out the only two times he fought a puncher in his entire career even though said puncher is a useless unskilled dosser

If Fury loses he'll finally be allowed to become a member of their club

Well, Whyte knocking out Fury would certainly make a fight that everyone feels won't be too memorable into a fight that we'll all never forget.

I have always loved upset KOs.

And, if Whyte wins, his top WBC contender is "You Know Who." So we may see Wilder come back one more time.

But I'd be surprised if it happened.

That's why we watch, though ... those unexpected moments.

100%. Rachman and McCall beating Lewis, Douglas beating Tyson, Golota giving Bowe hell, Sanders KOing Wlad, the list goes on and on. If these fights never took place most would write those challengers off as getting destroyed by the favorite. But they did happen and they came through.

Fury is favored(and rightly so, I'm picking him to win) but Whyte is a top ten heavyweight that could spring an upset.

Whyte's rated higher than all of them were. That's why the heavyweight division rules.
