I would definatly favor Abraham over him. He's got a hell of a chin and can counter well and has excellent power.

I think Sturm might make the mistake of thinking he can outbox Paul. I say that's a mistake because I think Paul's workrate and reach would win the day.

Arthur can land something big at any given moment, and I doubt if Paul could handle more than a couple of those hand grenades Arthur throws. However, AA sucks against tall fighters. If Paul could use his jab, his length, and his volume to keep Abraham behind his shell, he could win a wide UD.

From a purely fan friendly stand point Pavlik/Williams is the best fight to make out of the big 3 at 160. It's a short, really freakin' fast, and vey brutal fight; do not blink. Two volume punchers with leaky defense. Paul is faster and moves around a little better than Kelly. Pavlik is bigger, stronger, probably tougher, and he hits a helluva lot harder. We know for sure that KP would not stay behind his guard like AA might, and I doubt if Pav would come in lookin' to outbox Paul. Pav would most likely come out and just declare war. I'll take KP in 5-8 rounds depending on how much trouble he has with Paul's length and lateral movement. As a Williams fan, I say keep Paul away from Kelly for awhile. As a Pavlik nuthugger, and a longtime boxing fan in general, I say HELL YA; let's get it on!!

I doubt it. My gut is that Top Rank would elect to rematch Cotto and Mosley before allowing Cotto to get in with PTP. I think the only way PTP fights for another title at WW would be against Clottey if he is to beat Cotto and personally I don't think he will.

To answer the thread topic I'd have to pick AA to give PTP the most trouble because he probably is the biggest puncher in the division.

I don't know, man. Mosley is one of my absolute favorites, and at this point, I really hope he doesn't pursue that route.

The only way I see Mosley winning is if he has the power to drop Paul. If he can hurt Paul, he can give him all sorts of problems, but if he can't, he's in for a long night.

I believe Cotto would outpoint him in a close but clear UD. Im not sure PW has the same skills as Cotto. Would be a ****ing great fight

The following is worth thinking about:

He'd be the strongest fighter aside from Winky that Williams has fought.

He'd be the hardest puncher that Williams has fought.

I think Lopez is going to get a title eliminator with Karmazin. Whoever wins earned the ass whoopin' that comes next.

i can't believe paul williams is listed as 6'1'' on boxrec...
he towered over larry merchant while wright at 5'10 1/2 was only a few inches taller.
so how tall is williams? he surely is taller than pavlik, who is 6'2 1/2.
