Who would have a better chance against Duran at 147: Spence, Crawford, or Ennis.

Currently Ennis isn't even in the realm of Crawford let alone Leonard. Ennis has looked fantastic so far but until a guy does the same thing against top fighters, and in Leonard's case, other all-time greats, he has potential but has proven nothing.

Crawford is a great fighter, I like him a lot and I don't like Leonard, but he is a couple of levels away from Leonard. SRL had power, athleticism, the ability to fight on the inside or outside, an extraordinarily high ring IQ and is one of the few fighters I've seen who had a more vicious killer instinct then Bud.

If Ennis tried to rabbit punch Duran his balls would end up in his oesophagus..and his face would be glove raked so bad he would look like a darker skinned Edward James Olmos.

 

Crawford is decent but hasn't had any signature wins unless you count Khan or Brook. Ennis hasn't fought anyone at all.

Not as good as Leonard and Duran beat peak SRL. I love all 3 guys but difficult to see them beating peak Duran. All great fighters but Duran is arguably the best there has ever been.

 

Crawford would get knocked out because he will down tools and go to war and he comes out 2nd best in this shoot out. Boots will endure a career ruining beating like Davey Moore and EJ would lose the decision.

Ray outdueled and stopped one of the most defensively capable boxers ever at WW in Benitez. Ray manhandled, beat up, and stopped one of the most Fluid and powerful boxer/punchers in history in Hearns at WW. Ray has wins over two men that would quite frankly have their way with Crawford or Ennis (and this ain't disrespect to either as I think very highly of Crawford and Ennis). Sugar Ray is one of those boxers that was damn near perfect at everything in the ring. To say they're just as skilled is disrespect to Ray and telling us to not believe what our eyes can clearly see.

But I digress: Spence would have the best chance because of the size and strength advantage. I would definitely not make Spence the favorite vs. Duran though. I don't think any of them beats the Duran that beat Ray.
