who would have the best chance to beat Calzaghe today?

Joe whoops Ward i think. he should beat them all with dawson having the best chance.

i cant wait to see andre ward go down in flames that guy makes sakio bika look like a clean fighter! if calzaghe stuck to his boxing and refused to be baited he would clown him! direll can hardly stand,pavlik makes kessler look slick and johnson beat dawson.

AA would only have a small puncher's chance - but that's more than the other guys would've (excluding Dawson because he is no SMW fighter)

I'd fancy Calzaghe to beat them all with Pavlik having the least chance.
Dawson would have the best chance but I think he'd get outworked.
Too early to tell with Ward but he obviously looks decent.

 

I say Ward. He's not great at one thing but he seems to do everything very well. He can probably adapt just like Calzaghe. He's got good natural talents. And he comes to fight.

I don't think Calzaghe has ever faced someone like Ward in his career.

 

Ward may well turn out to be special, but hes only got one real good win against Kessler, his win over Miranda didnt have the same impact as Pavliks or Abrahams 2nd victory over him. But Kessler is only one style in which he won, Calzaghe beat lots of different styles in making 21 defences. Also Ward has been put down and hurt by lesser fighters than Calzaghe. Its really too early to judge Ward but I couldnt see Ward beating Calzaghe at all, at this time or any of the others

1 Dawson
2 Bute
3 Ward
