Mark, you said you were a big fan of Bruno’s so I was just wondering were there any Bruno fights that you actually thought he looked particularly good in or you were impressed with because from reading most of your posts about him, it’s seems you weren’t impressed by anything he did or rated his abilities at all?

I`m 43 tomorrow and liked Frank during the 80`s as a kid, I didn`t know anything about boxing back then, I went off Frank when he made his comeback in the 90`s and people were saying he was going to beat Lewis despite Lennox beating Ruddock who I feel was better than anyone Bruno beat.

Its easy to underrate Bruno because of his shortfalls but when he put in a decent performance he was an above average heavyweight imo. He gave some great fighters some tough moments, tougher than say, some fighters that might be ranked above him. He made Lewis look abysmal for most of their fight until he got caught. Problem is this was the pattern, but people forget he usually did very well until that point. I certainly wouldn't rule out a Bruno win against slow old Foreman who would have to take some heavy punches early in the fight, but I'd have to put my money on Foreman lasting, he would need the stoppage though as Frank would probably build up a fairly decent lead.

Happy Birthday, kid. You should treat yourself tomorrow and take the day off from posting on here. It feels like you’ve been posting here every day non stop for ... the last 43 years! Lol.

You'd like to think Bruno could win, and he likely should and he would be ahead. In the end though, he'd get brutally stopped at some point like only Frank Bruno can
