morales in a exciting fight. he just knows when to box and mix it up with punches. hes a beast at that weight.
Not to many give Marquez love. I think he is one of the best boxers I ever seen. I think he would give Morales problems
Morales size and range and all out toughness would have been too much for him IMO. I like Marquez too, But I think Pacquiao presented a tougher stylistic match up to Morales than Marquez would. Pacquiao is relentless and has so much hand speed and his punches come straight down the mid. Marquez is an unreal technical punches but I think he would have gotten roughed up with Morales. Morales wouldn't have a problem hitting him and had power in both hands. Just the fact that Morales old chin held up to Pacquiao's onslaught in their 1st fight is enough to know that prime for prime Marquez would not have enough to crack Morales chin. I just don't think Marquez could outwork Morales over 12 rounds. Does Marquez have it in him to fight a battle like Barrera did? I'm not too sure about that. Barrera slightly got the best out of Morales in 3 very competitive fights because his hand speed was just a notch faster than Morales and his punches were more compact. It's a different situation with Marquez.
