Who would have won? had it continued, broken nose and all.

    The Masterful and Clinical Tactician??

The Old Warrior with his Wild swings on the ropes??

    :think

After losing the whole fight and not winning one round, it was not one bit competitive, DO you think Salido had it in him to actually hurt Mikey who was only getting stronger as the fight kept progressing? I don't think an elite slugger like Salido managing to put a kid on the ropes who stepped up a whole lot in class warrants a rematch. Not once in those instances did Salido manage to take Mikey off his gameplan however wild and agressive you think they were. None of those shots were landing solidly and Salido would get reset with a quick clinch so his gamplean would have been ineffective against the Technician.

If the fight would have continued, Salido would have been laid out. No one has ever toyed with him this much, not even Gamboa was able to take out the old war horse and look so dominant.

    What say ye.

I can not honestly say that Mikey would have went on to win, but I cant say Salido would have either, all I can say is that the momentum of the fight had switched in Salidos favor and Mikey looked like he was fading to me...

I think his corner felt the same way which is why I believe they pulled the plug

Salido would have probably been stopped. He would have ratched up the pressure and gotten KOed or TKOed because of it.

I don't know what people were watching, but in no way was mikey fading, he was only getting stronger, and Salido was tiring and his face was swelling, and would be hesitant to come in with his aggressiveness.

like I said I don't think an elite slugger managing to put a kid on the ropes and unleash wild slugs who stepped up in class so much warrants a rematch or to be called, Making mikey Uneasy, not once did salido in those exchanges at the end was salido getting the better of mikey, or connecting solidly. Mikey was defensively very awesome on the inside or would do a quick clinch.

I don't think a guy who was picked apart all night, and KD 4 times would suddenly become the stronger man.

You sound like a ******* with that statement Marquez was able to...
and yes Salido was turning that fight in his favor, again I was not supporting Salido to win this fight, i wanted Mikey but as a fan of the sport, I am not pleased with the way in which the garcias decided to end the fight.
I am sorry but there is no conclusion if Salido was going to get knocked out anyways let that un fold if the Drs were to stop it due to his eye let that be the case.
But dont sit there and tell yourself we are well ahead, lets take advantage of this foul and get out of the fight with the title... I mean yes there was a headbutt I do agree it was intentional but in the end Mikey himself said he should have continued fighting....

Although Salido was starting to come on, i still think Mikey would have gone to outbox him to a UD, maybe dropping him one more time.

its possible and highly likely but Salido was coming on Garcia was fading and we have seen Salido come back from behind come back from being floored to win to will his way to Victory, there is nothing to suggest that a Salido win was out of the question.

Oh no doubt about it. But for me, a Mikey UD win would have been more likely to happen. But Salido coming back from behind to take it wouldn't have been a suprise at all.

If Mikey Garcia had to fight on with his nose being broken then it is hard to tell what would happen, I felt the Salido was having more success as the fight progressed, but still felt that Garcia would win, but with a broken nose every punch whether it be blocked or simply glancing would have an affect.

If I had to pick it would be Garcia on points but it would be a tough last few rounds.

So then Salidos best chance was to feed off a foul? Nice.

Reagardless of that Mikey would have fought trough and won
