It could be great. RJJ is currently underrated, even if he is a shade of his former self.

I'd love to see that happen. :yep It's not gonna happen though IMO, but there's always the possibility.

RJJ just might have more fans on his side with that fight than ever before...

People love to see the underdog upset the big cat :hat

Like it or not, its not realistic at all, Calzaghe would beat his ass.

Funamentals last longer than speed, and Calzaghe's got both.

Not to mention RJJ could have made this fight happen in their primes if he wanted.

Yes I would love it, it would be a fitting end for Calzaghe, running from that loss his entire career and he loses his last bout kind of reminds me of the Patriots how their undefeated fraud of a season got exposed by the Giants. Too bad RJJ has nothing left in the tank

    Damn you Calzaghe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you. Even though his speed is two notches lower, its still right up there with some of the best. His reactions have slowed too, but they were arguably the best ever so now they are "only" above average......big deal. Not saying he can clean out divisions or anything but he can give the current version of JC all kinds of trouble

Roy is not kicking anyones ass with his Glass Jaw. Why has he been fighting bums in Prince Badi and Hanshaw? Then Tito?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Roy is not fooling anyone. Calzaghe will shatter that Glass Jaw just like Glen Johnson did.

Yep, it's not like he lost to bums. Father age took his biggest assets, but as you correctly say, they are still above average. Not that it will be enough for RJJ, but it's never a walkover.

If he can neutralize Joe like BHop did, he can have a real chance at a win. If Roy has that "1 last great fight" in him, I would love to see it happen now. Roy is smart, he is a big light heavy, he will study Joe and if anything, make a real fight of this.
