Getting mad because he doesn't have an loss? :huh
Sure...think what you want, as long as you continue to act like a coward.

I ask you to make a Margarito vs. Mayweather breakdown and you refuse to do one.

Margarito tries to fight Mayweather and he refuses. I am wondering if you are Mayweather now.

Very good point. It is SAD! I agree that he is one of the best, but his non-willingness (if thats a word) to take a fight if everything is NOT in his favor hurts his legacy MORE than if he took the fight win or lose (IMO)

And you can bet that unwillingness will be remembered in future discussions.

What will never stop? Bashing PBF? im not bashing him. I like his work in the ring(not so much outside the ring...thats another story). I just think that a legacy is what other people think and talk about, not the athlete himself. He said he retired because he had no more to prove. I think we all agree there is a little more for him to do.
If he lost the fire inside...thats 1 thing and i wish him the best, but if he retired to duck Cotto, Marg..ect then he should put his fists where his mouth is

But its not always about the fans. He felt he didnt get enough credit for what he did already, and he felt it would continue.

When you act the way he acts you are not going to be appreciated as you would expect.Ithink he is a wonderful pugilst and as i said earlier 1 of the best of this era.But lets be honest hes a bit of a dickhead.(and that could be taken as an understatement in some eyes):yep

You guys have your own opinions about him. To me, he's very enteraining, his press conferences and 24/7's were very entertaining. And I liked his persona, he's very smart. He always kept it real and told the truth.

I agree he is entertaining. When a guy has a personality like his, there will always be guys that hate him NO MATTER what he does or who he fights. Its just that people were calling him out to fight Cotto, he said no.. now Marg. so for him to retire and say he had nothing more to prove...it leaves a bad taste is some fans mouths

true. but like he says, at the end of the day, its not always about the fans, its about him and his family and the life that he has to live from here on out.
