In the beggining of the HBO broadcast for Tyson-Biggs, Larry said it could have lasted one minute or one hour but three questions Mike Tyson had to answer: 1 Can he cope with a clever boxer; 2 Can he survive with an heavy puncher ; 3 Can he persevere when he's hurt.

Well, Evander Holyfield was definitely smarter than he was when he watched carefully at ringside and in the Tokyo Dome how would Tyson cope with a clever boxer so he used those 3 rounds where Buster Mathis Jr was most effective, stealing punching room, work out of the clinches which is both smart defensively and sets of his offense by punching back ( being first was dangerous cause Tyson had a great defense and capitalized on his opponents errors, we have seen plenty of that - Reggie Gross, Trevor Berbick, Razor Ruddock and so on).

Then Holyfield saw that Tyson had problems persevering when he was hurt or bothered with something so he roughed him up too jsut lie Mike did to Thomas, Bruno, Biggs and other guys.

Finally, Holyfield was not the heavy puncher but like we all know it's the unexpected punch and the psychological effect that take and took its tool in the first fight, Holyfield outworked him, Tyson always thought Evander was on the taking after his 8th round TKO loss to Bowe so he even gave up his WBC belt won from Bruno...

Bottom line and concerning the rematch, Tyson was again with his eye bleeding (from a left hook on the break and I believe in the heat of the battle unintentional), he was outta control no matter if he was fit, strong, aggressive and angry like in the old days... Evander had the balls to deal with it and set the blueprint for a faded Tyson towards to his downfall against Lewis, Danny Williams, Kevin McBride and all ova. Very sorry to say so. He definitely was in the rematch to redeem himself but even with old Larry Holmes trainer there, he wouldn't listen so the rest is history.

Holyfield would have GOT IN THAT ASS. . . AGAIN. . . He would have hurt Tyson, maybe even retired him.

Holyfield would have won it. He's one of the dirtiest fighters in boxing sport. Hug, hold, clinch, and headbutt were the tactics that Holyfield used to fight Tyson and other opponents. That's why he got his ear bitten.

I loved to eat ear chocolate after watching this fight.:rofl

Tinkerbell was too much of a mental midget to beat Evan Fields.

If it had continued Holyfield would have no ears left! Or should I say Tyson would have "boxed" Holyfield's ears off?
